Service Description

Join Carina for a Monday morning slow flow Yoga practice to set the right tone for your week ahead. Carina as been practicing Yoga for over 20 years and teaching for over 10. Her classes are inspired by principles of nature, the elements and aligning with the seasons to enhance your own feeling of connection with the natural world, beginning with strengthening our own awareness of body, breath and mind. The class will include Asana (postures), Pranayama (Breath practices) and most of the time some Meditation and internal intention setting for the week ahead. You do not have to have any prior Yoga experience. A basic level of fitness is recommended in that you are comfortable getting up and down from the floor unassisted, as the practice will often include downward dogs and some sun salutations. Classes are designed to restore balance to the nervous system, honour our individuality, different bodies and unique life experiences and if some weeks life has been demanding and you just need to come and lie on the floor and join in whenever you like (or don't) this is always welcome. It is your time. Please have bare feet and bring your own mat. A blanket is also recommended.
