NEWBURGH IN PERSON SLOW FLOW YOGA CLASS

Thursdays 6 - 7 pm, TICC, Newburgh High St

SUITABLE FOR THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO DEVELOP THEIR YOGA PRACTICE FROM A BEGINNER LEVEL OR THOSE WHO MAY HAVE PRACTICED A LITTLE YOGA BUT WOULD BENEFIT FROM REGULAR IN PERSON GROUP CLASSES, ESTABLISHING A SOLID UNDERSTANDING OF FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLES /POSTURES AND BREATH TECHNIQUES.

ALTHOUGH NO PRIOR YOGA EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ATTEND, A BASIC LEVEL OF FITNESS IS RECOMMENDED, I.E. BEING COMFORTABLE GETTING UP AND DOWN FROM THE FLOOR UNASSISTED, AS THE CLASS WILL INCLUDE SUN SALUTATIONS.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

  • Your own Yoga Mat

  • BARE feet

  • A blanket (or two!)
     

ALSO RECOMMENDED (but optional):

  • A couple of Yoga Bricks 

  •  

    Entirely optional but may be useful - a Yoga strap /belt
